CALSEIA names Bryan Crabb as executive director

Bryan Crabb has joined the California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA) as its new executive director. Crabb comes to CALSEIA after serving as director of government affairs at both First Solar and OptiSolar. He is lauded as having vast experience in solar policy as well as legislative and regulatory experience.

Crabb previously worked as the California Public Utilities Commission’s liaison to the Schwarzenegger administration and the California Legislature. In the early to mid-2000’s he served in the Legistlature, where he helped to write Senate Bill 1, which helped expand California’s PV market.
