A renewed and concerted effort is underway to push the cell efficiency boundaries of dye solar cell (DSC) materials and process technology, via a joint collaboration agreement between Dyesol and the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) of Japan. Leading the R&D will be renowned DSC researcher, Dr Liyuan Han of NIMS and Dyesol's Dr Gavin Tulloch.

Dr Tulloch, Director of Technology, Dyesol, said “This presents a unique opportunity for Dyesol to extend the boundaries of DSC efficiencies through a concerted effort in materials development with a world-leading institution, led by a recognised expert in the field.”
