Taiwanese PV module-manufacturer Neo Solar Power (NSP) today announced the launch of its Black19 solar cell. The 6-inch monocrystalline cell can achieve an efficiency of over 19%, according to NSP, with 60 and 72 cells generating 260W and 310W respectively.

“After the successful launch of the Black18 in March 2011, I’m pleased to announce the introduction of the Black19, whose efficiency has been raised by a significant margin,” said Dr. Quincy Lin, NSP’s chairman. “We believe this new product will be the perfect solution for customers, with whom we will work to achieve grid parity in the near future.”
