General Plasma appoints Vacuum Solutions Group as Eastern United States sales representative

General Plasma Inc., (GPI), innovation leader in vacuum thin film coating, has strengthened its presence in the United States by appointing Vacuum Solutions Group (VSG) as its Eastern United States sales and support representative.

“The market in the United States holds significant opportunities for General Plasma as the leading provider of complete PECVD and sputter equipment solutions for applications such as solar energy, architectural glass, data storage and scientific research,” said Jerry Martin, Vice President at GPI.

“The appointment of Vacuum Solutions Group as representatives for our sophisticated source offerings will enhance GPI’s ability to service our target customers in the United States by providing competent technical sales, support coverage, and local logistical operations,” Martin continues.

Larry Gilbert, an owner of Vacuum Solutions Group said, “We are confident of accelerating GPI’s market momentum in the United States and are committed to support GPI’s existing customer base, while continuing to develop relationships with new customers in the territory.”

GPI’s product line is being represented exclusively in Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia, by Vacuum Solutions Group beginning July of 2009.
