According to a news story at DIGITIMES, Gintech Energy has
reduced its solar production expansion targets for 2008. Instead of
guiding for 250MWp, the company has said that it will now reach 220MWp.
Although Gintech Energy has secured 80 percent of its polysilicon
supply requirements for 2008 and an expected increase in supply from
MEMC, which the company recently announced in October, Gintech is being
cautious over meeting financial markets’ expectations for MW growth
projections.
