Schweikardt specialised in international product management throughout his studies to become an industrial engineer.

With Schweikardt as the new head, Sputnik will now separate the product management department from the marketing department, giving the division more weight. The product management section will also report directly to the management board.

Managing Director Christoph von Bergen explained: “With a strong product management department we will be able to continue to expand our market position. Hans-Georg Schweikardt brings with him his excellent knowledge of the market and products. I am confident that as head of our product management department, he will sustainably support our goal of quickly bringing successful new products onto the market.”

Sputnik Engineering AG was founded in 1991 and has subsidiary companies in Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
