Henrik Raunkjaer to head Enecsys as CEO

Once Mossadiq Umedaly, the interim CEO of Enecsys, returns to his original role as executive chairman, Henrik Raunkjaer will step in as the new CEO and board member for the company. The changes will be effective starting November 1, 2010. Raunkjaer has over 24 years’ of experience in the electronics industry, has held several leadership positions in the solar business and earned a BS in electronic engineering.

Most recently, Raunkjaer served eight years as the founder and CEO of Powerlynx and even after the company was acquired by Danfoss, he continued on as managing director. Before Powerlynx, Raunkjaer was managing director for Focon Electronic Systems and from 1987 to 1995 held various engineering management positions with Bang & Olufsen.

“The combination of Henrik’s success and experience in the solar inverter business and his demonstrated leadership qualities are the key reasons for the board’s selection of him as the CEO,” said Mossadiq S. Umedaly, executive chairman. “We are confident in Henrik’s ability to lead and grow Enecsys into a world leading solar inverter business delivering quality micro-inverter products and services based on our proprietary technology. I personally look forward to working with him to execute on the vision and strategy of the company.”
