Ideematec and Solaria are collaborating to produce 40MW of their new STS-1 tracking system, which uses Solaria’s low-concentration, high-efficiency PV modules with Ideematec’s trackers. The companies will offer over 80,000 of the new ground-mounted tracking system units, which are specifically designed for large commercial and utility customers.

“With Solaria we found a long-term partner, to enter the upcoming market of concentrator PV. The high-efficiency Solaria modules can be ideally combined with our precise, new trackers,” said Manfred Werner, CEO of Ideematec Deutschland.

Each tracker will have 20 Solaria modules, with one controller capable of supporting up to 150 trackers.  The STS-1 single-axis CPV tracker is part of the safeTrack line and is said to incorporate a tracking precision of +/-1.5°.

Ideematec and Solaria are both exhibiting at Intersolar Europe, booths C4.220 and A3.510, respectively.
