In recent years, China's PV industry has developed rapidly, its newly installed capacity ranking first in the world for eight consecutive years. The time is right for the integration of smart manufacturing with the PV industry, based on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, industrial Internet and big data.

JinkoSolar has announced that its holding subsidiary, Shangrao JinkoSolar Industry Development Co., plans to invest RMB315 million to increase capital and shares in Inner Mongolia Xinte Silicon Materials Co. (“Inner Mongolia Xinte”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinte Energy. The investment will be used for the construction of a high-purity polysilicon production line with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons. After the capital increase is completed, the Company will hold a 9.00% stake in Inner Mongolia Xinte.

JinkoSolar has announced that, in collaboration with China Electric Power Equipment & Technology Co. (CEPET), it has provided PV panels for a 1MW off-grid project in Ethiopia, with CEPET providing full EPC and operation and maintenance services.
