Jonas & Redmann establishes Chinese subsidiary

Jonas & Redmann is expanding its presence in Asia by setting up a subsidiary in Suzhou, China. From August 1, Jonas & Redmann (Suzhou) will be responsible for all of the company’s sales and customer service activities in China.

“Asian customers are very interested in automation solutions, made in Germany,” Dr. Hans Georg Isert, Jonas & Redmann International’s managing director, said. “In recent years our technologies for the photovoltaic industry have become well established on the Asian market. We are responding to the very good development in business figures in China by founding the new service location.”

With subsidiaries already established in Korea and Taiwan, the opening of the Suzhou office signals Jonas & Redmann’s commitment to the rapidly growing Asian market, which already accounts for more than 80% of the company’s annual turnover.
