KLNE is increasing its presence within the Australian solar industry by opening a new office in Melbourne. The office was officially unveiled on May 26 at an event attended by the company’s CEO, Lancy Yu, sales director, Wison Qi, and marketing director, Paul Nicholson, as well as dignitaries from the Chinese Embassy and the Bank of China.

The new site, located at a two-story facility in Mount Waverley, will function as a service centre and technical back up facility for the company’s Australian clients. It will also serve as the contact point for all Australian warranty enquiries and administration centre for the KLNE extended warranty programme.

“This is a sign of our long term commitment to the Australian market,” Yu said. “We feel that PV has a strong future in Australia so it’s only natural that we want our own people here. Local contact is very important. KLNE intends to keep growing in Australia in co-operation with our business partners. We’ve done a lot of business in Australia and intend to do much more.”

“After sales service is an area where we intend to excel and for that reason we need premises and staff here. As more and more units are sold, the service aspect becomes very important. People want to know that if anything does goes wrong, there is local help available and available quickly. Our centre here will provide that comfort,” Qi added.
