Having completed its planned cell manufacturing capacity expansion to 800MW, Neo Solar Power (NSP) expects capacity to be expanded to over 1.2GW in 2011. The capacity expansion is 200MW more than previously guided at the beginning of the year. Strong demand despite the capacity increase from 240MW in 2009 highlights the company’s confidence in the market growing next year.

NSP recently signed a 3-year, 31.25 million wafers supply contract with Korean firm Osung LST as well as a 7-year, 11,600 ton polysilicon supply contract with another Korean firm Hankook.

The company also said that monthly revenue in November had reached approximately US$75.7 million (NT $2.28 Billion), the eight sequential month of record results. The revenue increase was 4.0% higher month-over-month and 98.7% year-over year. NSP reported net revenue for 11-months of 2010 as approximately US$590 million (NT$17.84 billion).
