Solution

TabTool PV provides a predefined framework for acquisition, maintenance, repairs and especially extensive inspections for deployed PV systems. The highly standardized platform is designed to provide users with consistently high quality data for all components making it easier to identify systematic errors and to take the appropriate action at the right time. All documents and procedures for the maintenance of PV components as well as the detection of defects are available on a tablet PC. In addition to the immediate and easy access to data necessary for assessing states documents, such as technical data sheets or user manuals, and recorded images are immediately assigned to the task and put in place. The Sorting and reworking is therefore kept to a minimum and supported with automatic generation of reports on site and available for making of additions and clarifications back in the office. A more uniform structure of reports ensures clarity during further processing. Even after a change of contractors, all information remains available.

Applications

Tabtool replaces Notepad, task cards, camera, technical data sheets and file folders full of diagrams for O&M plant applications.

Platform

By networking TabTool Office – the browser-based headquarters – and apps for iOS and Android tablets makes the cloud applications possible to optimally prepare both at work and then perform efficiently on site with access to all necessary information and documents, even by multiple team members at the same time.

Availability

April 2015 onwards.
