Atlas selects NEXTracker’s ‘TrueCapture’ technology for its solar power plant fleet

Major PV single-axis tracker firm, NEXTracker has secured a major contract with Latin American renewables firm, Atlas Renewable Energy to deploy its ‘TrueCapture’ self-adjusting tracker control system across its fleet of PV power plants.
 
NEXTracker said that the technology would installed at PV power plants in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay as well as on select greenfield projects currently under construction by Atlas. The current fleet tops 500MW.

Dan Shugar, NEXTracker CEO said, “We have successfully collaborated since Atlas Renewable Energy's inception and we're excited and appreciative to be integrating our proven TrueCapture technology with Atlas Renewable Energy's fleet from Mexico to Chile, significantly enhancing plant energy yields.”

On the first projects completed by Atlas in 2017 was the 110MW Quilapilún park in Chile.
