REC Partners Award Winners recognized at Global Partner Summit

Five awards were given to recognize the partners of REC during the Global Partner Summit in Italy.

According to Kai Lippert, founder, of EWS, who won the award for distributor of the year, “We are proud to be given this award and to be an REC Partner.”

REC Solar Inc. a mainstream energy company, won the award for reference case of the year for several rooftop installations on IKEA stores in the United States. The German project developer Solar-konzept was given the award for project developer of the year for a 28MW installation on a former military base in Germany. The Belgian solar distributor Carbomat won the award for growth partner of the year for delivering the greatest growth in sales. Energy Matters, an Australian solar distributor, won the award for marketer of the year for their innovative work using call centres and the internet to market residential installations.

Founded in Norway in 1996, REC is an international solar company, employing more than 3,900 people worldwide and are ranked among the world's largest producers of polysilicon and wafers for solar applications and a rapidly growing manufacturer of solar cells and modules.

This was the fourth REC Partner Summit which brought together more than 100 participants from eleven countries.
