ReneSola confirms 44MW module deal with Enerparc

Chinese PV manufacturer ReneSola has agreed a deal to supply 44MW of its modules to German EPC company Enerparc.

The production of 35MW of the 43.6MW deal will be outsourced to third-party original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Poland and India.

Last month PV-Tech revealed that ReneSola was planning to meet growing demand for its modules in Europe by using outside manufacturers.

Xianshou Li, ReneSola's chief executive said: “Our strong relationships with a number of OEMs allow us to maximise our international reach while lowering costs.”

Stefan Mueller, chief operating office of Enerparc, added: “The current market conditions are manageable for companies who are deep in the value chain.”

Enerparc currently operates more than 400MW of solar generated as an independent power producer and said it foresees further opportunities in India and the United States.

In separate news, ReneSola has also confirmed the closing of a sales contract to supply 2MW of its Virtus II polysilicon modules to a “mega” solar project in Uenohara-shi, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.
