Schneider Electric surpasses 1GW of PV power plant service contracts

Schneider Electric’s PV business operations were said to have reached a new milestone in 2013 with over 1GW of cumulated service contracts for PV power plants.

The company claimed it was the first PV energy systems provider to reach the milestone within the utility-scale segment.

Recently, GTM Research highlighted that the operations and maintenance (O&M) market for megawatt-scale PV plants would total 146GW by 2017.

Schneider Electric said that it currently operates and services PV Power Plants in Europe, North America, India, Japan Thailand, South Africa and Chile.
