The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has released details of 28 solar PV projects totalling 505MW commissioned under India’s flagship solar programme JNNSM in Phase II Batch I.
The plants ranging in size from 10-40MW are located in four states, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The total viability gap funding (VGF) for the financial year 2015/16 is INR4.3 billion (US$67 million), which is 50% of the total VGF eligibility of INR8.7 billion (US$136 million).
SECI recently signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Indian renewable energy developer ACME to take power from a 100MW plant in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
