Specialist PV system monitoring firm, Solare Datensysteme said that sales had reached almost €7 million in the first quarter of 2012, a 118% increase over the same quarter in 2011. The company guided sales in the second quarter of 2012 would be inline with the first quarter. The increase in sales was said to be due to sales success in a wider number of countries, including Canada and the US.
“Thanks to an early adjustment of our strategy and the associated market presence in North America, Asia and 12 more European countries, the sales figures are continuing to climb,” commented Guy Thouin, Managing Partner of Solare Datensysteme.
The company also noted that its ‘Solar-Log’ PM+” power management models especially catering for the new German EEG tariff system in 2012 had proved popular, adding to the increase in turnover.
The solar system monitoring specialist claimed that it monitored more than 535,000 inverters in over 65 countries, with a total yield of approximately 3.75GW.
