The new SOL90AL fexible foil-backed module has sheet metal that extends beyond the solar laminate on two sides that enable simple fastening methods to be used and eliminating the need for racking systems or bonding to a roof structure.

A newly-designed UV-resistant junction box is mounted to the front-side of the module for ease of stringing, though the company noted that a rear-side junction box mounting may be available upon request.
