Soltech and Solaire 2G agree deal on hybrid module

French solar technology start-up company Solaire 2G has signed a partnership agreement with Belgian module producer Soltech.

Under the terms of the agreement Soltech, a subsidiary of GDF Suez, will manufacture the PV element of Solaire’s Dualsun hybrid solar thermal/PV modules.

When it goes into production, the DualSun will seek to overcome the fact that thermal and PV panels currently have to be installed separately.

The system incorporates both elements into one panel, enabling the simultaneous production of both electricity and hot water.
