The Asian Development Bank has approved a US$650 million loan to accelerate rooftop solar PV deployment in India.

Indian independent power producer (IPP) ReNew Power has secured US$331 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for its solar plant in the Southern state of Andhra Pradesh. 

The ADB has partnered with the governments of the Solomon Islands and Tonga to support each state’s energy transition.
