Perovskite solar cell researcher Oxford PV and German research organisation Fraunhofer ISE have developed a full-sized tandem PV module with a record efficiency of 25%.

A 3.2MW solar agrivoltaics (agriPV) project operated by German utility RWE for demonstration has started supplying electricity to the grid.

Solar PV systems generated about 59.9TWh of electricity in 2023, up by about 1% year-on-year, according to a Fraunhofer ISE study.
