Lithuanian state-owned energy company Ignitis Group has signed an agreement to acquire solar parks in Poland with a total capacity of up to 170MW from developer Sun Investment Group (SIG).
The largest solar panel rooftop installation in the Baltic States recently started operations atop the RETAL factory in Lentvaris, around 10 kilometres from the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The installation has a total generation capacity of 1.4MW.
