A round-up of several project stories in the US that have been announced this week, including OCI Energy, Arava Power, Arevon Energy and MN8.

Solar and storage developer MN8 Energy has raised US$575 million to refinance three PV projects in North Carolina, Kentucky and Illinois.

The projects, with 517MW cumulative capacity, are currently under construction and expected to begin operations by the end of 2025.

First Solar will supply 170MW of Series 6 Plus bifacial modules and 287MW of Series 7 modules to MN8's projects in the US.

Solar PV and energy storage developer and operator MN8 Energy has secured a private placement of US$325 million.
