Renewable energy investment platform Nexwell Power has closed a €167 million (US$191 million) multi-tranche project financing for a 248MW solar PV portfolio in Spain.
Former will deploy 1.64GW of PV as part of 3GW pipeline in Teruel while latter secures preliminary grid go-ahead for 450MW installation in Guadalajara.
Spanish clean energy utility Holaluz has signed an agreement to procure power from 500MW of PV projects to be built by Chinese firm Chint Energy in Spain.
