Tianwei New Energy Yangzhou signs module supply contract with French firm

Tianwei New Energy (Yangzhou), a subsidiary of Baoding Tianwei Group, has signed a contract to supply an unnamed French distributor with 6MW of its polysilicon modules. The first shipment, comprising of 46kW TWY230P660, 295.16kW TWY235P660 and 470.64kW TWY240P660 modules, was delivered in mid-June.

“We have made a breakthrough on the French market,” Tianwei New Energy (Yangzhou) general manager Ma Jianjun said. “The product supply to the French market proves the worldwide influence of our Tianwei brand and products once again. We have a firm belief that we can provide all the customers with highest quality products and services at most competitive prices.”

The announcement of this supply deal is further testament to Tianwei’s growing presence within the European PV industry and comes just a month after then company signed a two-year supply agreement with German firm Pairan.
