TOYO Engineering Corporation has been given a large-scale PV plant project in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, by Pacifico Energy Furukawa.
The project is expected to have a generation capacity of 56.87MW and is expected to be completed by the end of 2016. Power generated from the installation will be sold to Tohoku Electric Power Co.

TOYO now boasts a varied portfolio of large-scale projects in Japan, including an installation in Okayama Prefecture (230MW) and Miyazaki Prefecture (96MW). In total, the company now holds onto large-scale PV plants with a combined capacity of 458MW.
