CNPV Solar Power has become the latest solar photovoltaic manufacturer to become a member of PV Cycle. The company joins the environmental recycling program on its mission to introduce the take back and recycling of end-of-life PV modules.
"Our corporate core values encompass total solutions to the green energy cycle, from increasing product and manufacturing efficiencies, development of new technologies and vertical integration of component production to on site waste reduction and, of course, our own solar energy generation," said Zhang Shunfu, CNPV's CEO and B. Veerraju Chaudary, CNPV's COO, CTO and member of the board.
"The PV CYCLE initiative therefore fits completely with our way of working. We are delighted to become a member; to contribute locally and globally to an intelligent approach for the solar materials cycle, and fully support the implementation of new standards in sustainability."
Jan Clyncke, managing director of PV Cycle said, "We warmly welcome CNPV to the PV Cycle family, making the photovoltaic industry DoubleGreen by contributing to the implementation of a voluntary take-back and recycling program for the PV industry. The PV industry is committed to being 'double green' by not only providing clean and renewable energy to address climate change but also to ensure that the solutions to climate change today don't pose a waste management issue for future generations."
