Solar Trust of America names Steven Brewer EVP, CCO

Steven Brewer, a 20 year veteran of the large-scale utility industry, has been named Solar Trust of America’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer.  Additionally, Brewer will serve as CEO for Solar Trust’s wholly owned engineering, procurement and construction subsidiary, Solar Trust of America , and be a member of the management board for the company.

Brewer will be managing Solar Trust’s and all its subsidiaries’ EPC actions as well as Solar Trust’s operations and maintenance activity. He brings over 20 years of industry experience to the company, having most recently served at Tenaska Energy as a project director.

Before becoming part of the Tenaska team, Brewer was VP of supply for Mid American Energy Company. There he was responsible for the maintenance and operational activities for different power generation properties that totaled 6,000MW along with the development and construction of a large base load facility.
