Recurrent Energy names power-gen vet Pat Caramante as VP of engineering and construction

Recurrent Energy has named Patrick Caramante as its new VP of engineering and construction. In this role, he will lead the company’s E&C Group, responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and operation of Recurrent’s portfolio of distributed-scale solar projects.

Caramante has more than 30 years experience in the power generation industry, including 10 years in renewable energy technologies. He was most recently VP of engineering for FirstWind, where he was responsible for technical support to FirstWind’s development, construction, and operations groups.

Previously, he was VP of Garrad Hassan America, the leading independent engineering/consulting firm to the global wind power industry, where he helped to grow the firm by almost 50% in two years.

He has also worked for General Electric, Con Edison of NY, EBASCO, and ABB.    

“Pat adds to the team’s depth of experience in energy project engineering, construction, and operations,” said Arno Harris, CEO of Recurrent Energy. “Through his experience managing more than 750MW of power assets throughout his career, he strengthens our leadership team in key functional areas as we transition into building significant volumes from our pipeline.”
