SPG Solar appoints Chris Robine as CFO

SPG Solar has named Chris Robine as the new company senior vice president and chief financial officer. Robine succeeds Paul McKnight who is leaving SPG Solar to pursue other opportunities.

"We are very pleased to have Chris join our team," says Thomas Rooney, CEO at SPG Solar. "Chris brings a wealth of experience in world class financial control systems as well as significant experience in the renewable energy sector. I look forward to working closely with Chris as SPG Solar enters the next phase of its evolution including significant global growth and strategic acquisition."

"SPG Solar has an excellent reputation and strong growth potential," says Chris Robine. "It is a great time to be part of this company. I've worked in several high-growth businesses at GE and each has its own unique set of challenges. I plan to be a strong operating partner to achieve SPG Solar's financial targets while continuously strengthening our controllership environment."

Robine was previously CFO for GE Renewable Energy.
