China Sunergy to supply Australian firm with 10MW of modules

In a sub-contracted OEM arrangement, China Sunergy is supplying NUE PTY Ltd, an Australian-based PV distributor with 10MW of mono-crystalline solar modules through early 2010. Shipments were said to have begun in June, 2009.

“Australia represents another new market for China Sunergy, and our successful signing of multiple sales agreements with this new customer is a positive indication of our ability to deliver high-quality solar power products globally,” commented Dr. Ruennsheng Allen Wang, Director and CEO of China Sunergy.

In China Sunergy’s second quarter financial results that were recently reported, the company noted shipments  of 1.4 MW of solar cells processed under OEM arrangements and a total shipment figure of approximately 41.5 MW. The Company anticipates shipments in the third quarter of between 48MW and 55MW.
