Edwards Group promotes board member Jim Gentilcore to CEO

Edwards Group, a manufacturer of solar cells, has promoted Jim Gentilcore to Chief Executive Officer, effective from 1 March 2013.

Gentilcore, who has been serving as a board member for the company since 2007, succeeds Matthew Taylor, who has resigned by mutual agreement with the company’s Board of Directors.

Gentilcore has three decades of experience in the technology industry and has held several senior roles. Most recently, Gentilcore was the CEO of EPAC Technologies, from 2009 to 2011.
