Etrion’s performance exceeds forecast

Etrion’s Italian PV projects have exceeded the forecasted performance, the company has announced. The company has 60MW of PV plants in operation in Italy and in June 2012 the energy production was 9% above forecast and over 30% more than during the same time period in 2011. In the first half of 2012, Etrion generated over 57 million kWh of energy, which is approximately 42 million, kWh more than in the first half of 2011. The company is expecting a 15% increase in the total production in 2012 compared to 2011.  

Etrion is further working on measures to optimize performance and is planning to increase collaboration with third parties to achieve better results. Etrion’s CEO Marco A. Northland is pleased that the company managed to optimize its performance, resulting in higher efficiency and energy output. On the outlook for the second half of 2012 he commented: “We have implemented several tools and systems to optimize performance and we will continue to explore new ways to streamline operations and increase production where possible. 2012 continues to be an exciting year for us as we execute on our new development initiatives and pursue other opportunities to increase installed capacity.”
