Executive leadership shake-up at Solutia

Performance materials and specialty chemicals manufacturer Solutia has appointed new members to its executive leadership team.

D. Michael Donnelly has been elected executive vice president and chief operating officer, while Nadim Qureshi has been elected senior vice president of corporate development (emerging markets) and president of photovoltaics.

Craig Ivey replaces Donnelly as president and general manager of the Performance Films division. Also recently appointed are Timothy Spihlman as senior vice president of corporate strategy and analysis and Christopher Bray as vice president and corporate controller.

Donnelly has had almost 40 years worth of experience in manufacturing, business and leadership, while Mr Qureshi, who will be based in Shanghai at Solutia’s Asia-Pacific regional headquarters, previously held the role of vice president of corporate strategy and development for the company.
