Recurrent Energy, the renewable energy developer arm of solar manufacturer Canadian Solar, has reached financial close on a 171MW solar-plus-storage project in Victoria, Australia.
Located in the northern department of Atlantic, Enel started construction of two solar PV projects, the Guayepo III and Atlántico, with 200MW and 199.5MW of capacity, respectively.
The sites are expected to generate over 120MW of solar power, Nexamp said, across the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Illinois and Minnesota.
Overall, Germany (with 16.1GW added in 2024) continues to be the most important market in the European Union for solar PV, followed by Spain (9.3GW) and Italy (6.4GW).
