Martifer Solar announced the completion of its 2.07MW ground-mounted Les Mées, solar plant. The PV installation was built across 4 hectares with Martifer Solar overseeing the EPC and supplying all PV equipment. The company will also be providing the operation and maintenance of the plant, which is to be operated by Leonidas Associates IV.

The French PV plant is set to produce 3,050MWh of electricity per year, slated to be enough energy to power nearly one thousand homes. Commenting on the steep slopes the solar project was built upon, David Osório Mota, Martifer Solar France country manager, commented, “A relevant workforce and special machinery was needed to prepare the land, but once more we were able to transform a challenge into a success and the plant was delivered on time and fully performing.”
