The PVA’s 230MW prediction for 2012 fell short by around with 175.7MW ultimately added.

The group now expects the 200MW barrier to be broken this year.

Austria announced in September 2012 that it would double its renewable energy budget for 2013 to €50 million (US$66.1 million).

Around €36 million (US$47.6 million) has been made available to promote the installation of small scale solar with the PVA recommending those interested should apply as soon as possible.
