As a union territory, solar deployment has proved to be negligible in Dadra and Nagar Haveli as attention is directed towards larger states with more land availability.

BHEL is said to currently be working on completion of around 180MW of solar projects for a range of customers. The company provides EPC services for both off-grid and grid interactive solar developments throughout India, working across ground-mount and rooftop projects.

Most recently it announced a partnership with the Indian Railway for a 2MW rooftop system to be installed at Diesel Modernisation Works.
