NexPower commences mass production of 155W module

Thin-film PV module manufacturer NexPower has begun mass production of its new 155W tandem-junction thin-film silicon module. The latest member of the Taiwanese company’s silicon NT-series, the new module will be renamed Xtreme+, along with all further NT-series modules to reach over 155W of nominal power.

NexPower said that its a-Si/μc-Si tandem Xtreme⁺ module had demonstrated an efficiency of over 10%, as well as a temperature coefficient of -0.28%/°C, resulting in a slower drop in power output at increased temperatures. The company also offers the new module both with and without frames, and with a choice of black and aluminium-coloured frames.
