The installation of conventional solar modules on low sloped roofs requires a sub-construction to mount the modules to the roof. The attachment of the racking to the roof is done either mechanically which requires roof penetrations or by using heavy ballasting components.

Solution

The module is equipped with a 10cm wide welding seam and can securely fastened by hot air welding onto PVC, EVA and TPO roofing membranes. Solarion also supplies the required synthetic roofing membranes. The solar module with an output of 210W and an area load of about 9 kg/m²is designed for use on large, low sloped roofs of commercial and industrial buildings. The installation is performed easily and quickly without any additional mounting materials by the roofing company. The module is mechanically supported by the existing roof structure which increases the module load bearing capacity in case of hail impacts or heavy snow loads. The special design features and the unique field installation allows for attractive system costs and subsequently for competitive LCOE.

Application

PV-power plants on large low sloped roofs of commercial and industrial buildings.

Platform

Solarion also offers the M210P was specifically designed to meet the growing need for both PVC flat roofs and applications on demand with greater flexibility and options when planning projects. The M210T was specifically designed to meet the growing need for both TPO flat roofs and applications on demand.
