China-based PV manufacturer Risen Energy is to build a 99MW PV project on land leased adjacent to fish ponds in the Shepantu area of Ninghai county Zhengjiang Province.
Authorisation for the project was recently received from Zhengjiang Province Development and Reform Commission on March 13.

The project was said to cost around RMB 707.81 million (US$133.95 million).
The company has previously built PV projects across Europe and several large-scale projects in China.
