Diversified renewable energy firm Shunfeng International Clean Energy (SFCE) has announced that it’s CEO, Xin (Eric) Luo and vice chairman Jianmin Shi have both resigned their positions at the company.

Luo had been appointed the senior vice president of Suntech Power Holdings when acquired from bankruptcy by SFCE in October, 2010 and was promoted to CEO of SFCE in February 2014.

The company said that Luo had resigned his positions ‘in order to focus on his other personal business.’ SFCE said that it would start a search for a new CEO. 

Vice chairman Shi was said to have resigned to ‘due to the need of spending more time on his personal career development'.

SFCE noted that both executives did not have any disagreement with the SFCE Board and took the opportunity to express their ‘gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Luo and Mr. Shi for their valuable contribution to the Company during their tenure of directorship’.
