German EPC company Solea has developed and completed construction of a 7.7MW ground-mounted PV project in record time.
On February 23, the German federal environmental ministry released a proposal for its new renewable energy laws, including cuts in FiTs by 30%, effective March 8, 2012.
Since time was a pressing issue, Solea began construction of the “Solarpark Gut Werchau” solar plant, located on a 20ha former military site, on February 24, 2012 and completed the project as well as commenced commercial production on March 18, 2012. Solea installed 32,765 JinkoSolar PV panels and 388 Siemens inverters at a total investment of approximately €14 million.
