Small-scale technology certificates for solar still below targets in Australia

Small-scale technology certificates (STCs) were created for 10,487 solar PV systems, totalling 56.3MW capacity, in Australia in April, but this fell well below the STC targets set by the regulator.

Australia requires 6GW of renewables to meet 2020 target

Australia must deploy an estimated 6GW of renewables capacity in order to meet its Renewable Energy target (RET) set for 2020, according to the nation's Clean Energy Regulator.
