Norwegian energy company Statkraft has narrowed down its focus on fewer markets and technologies as it targets to reduce its expenses by NOK2.9 billion (US$290 million) annually by 2027.

Developer Nexamp has closed a US$340 million debt refinancing for a portfolio of distributed solar and energy storage projects in the US.

US utility NextEra Energy Partners has planned to have a renewables and energy storage portfolio of 81GW by 2027.

Both companies aim to build the 1,150MW solar PV portfolio in the Khavda region, which is located in the western Indian state of Gujarat.

Alight will develop, build and co-own a portfolio of sites with Sveaskog, which will be situated on the latter’s land.
