Leading European PV tracker supplier Convert S.p.A has secured a major 220MW order to supply its single-axis ‘TRJ’ tracking solution for two PV power plants being built in Brazil.

Spanish solar tracker provider STI Norland announced this week that it will provide and install 202 of its STI H1250 trackers at a large-scale PV installation in Brazil.

NEXTracker, a Flex company has launched ‘TrueCapture’, a first-of-its-kind intelligent, self-adjusting tracker control system for solar power plants. TrueCapture’s technology is designed to continuously refine the tracking algorithm of each individual solar array in response to existing site and weather conditions.

Single-axis solar tracker manufacturer Soltec will supply its SF Utility tracker equipment to the Floresta solar PV power plant in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.

The firm noted that the milestone marks a shift in demand for smart solar trackers from the Indian PV industry as it matures.
