Unirac to supply mounting system for 37MW PV plant in Guam

PV mounting system installer Unirac has been chosen by Sunora Energy Solutions and NRG Energy to develop a Ground Mount Steel (GMS) mounting system for a 37.2MW PV plant in Inarajan, Guam.

When completed, the PV array is expected to produce enough energy to power the equivalent of 12,000 homes annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 15,000 tonnes.

This is now the second PV plant set to be installed on the small Pacific island, as NRG Solar and Boeing are currently building a 25MW PV plant, Dandan, in Inarajan as well.
