Grace Solar equipped the project with its UB solar mount system and ground screw. When it completed, the solar plant went online and became operational effectively at the first quarter of 2013.

The project is built on wasteland in Kawasaki, which Grace Solar said offered abundant solar resources.

Japan's solar industry is currently booming due to the introduction last summer of a generous feed-in tariff of JPY42 per kWh.
